​Adoption Events
Volunteers at adoption events are critical to CPAH.  Responsibilities include handling animals  events, sharing stories with potential adopters about the animals and the CPAH difference.   All it takes is a few hours on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Most events run from 12-3 pm, and we ask our volunteers to arrive around 11:30 and stay until about 3:15. Children have to be at least 12 years old to volunteer with a parent, and 18 years old to handle a dog on their own.

​FUNraisers

They're called FUNraisers because we chose places that we can have fun and celebrate the lives of animals we rescue and adopt.  We typically have 2-3 events a month and need help setting up/tearing down, promoting the event and talking with people during the event about our rescue and available animals.
